Maurice B Holland Jr.
Maurice (Butch) Holland is a Moore County native, Pinecrest High School, Sandhills Community College and St.Andrew’s Presbyterian College (now known as St. Andrew’s University) graduate. From 2013 to 2023, Mr. Holland has served as either 1st Vice Chair or Chair of the Moore County Democratic Party. In April of 2023 Mr. Holland was elected as Chair of the 9th Congressional District. In December 2023 Mr Holland filed to run for the NC Senate in District 21 (Moore & Cumberland).
